I did two out of three tags, I'll see if I can muster out of my laziness to do the last one before bed, but I don't I SWEAR I'll do it in the morning. Failonme. Dominique and Dorea still aren't done because I still suck. And I'm falling behind fast on both of these, I need to catch up, but I'm too busy being a TVwhore to do that because I honestly don't feel like writing which is a lame excuse but I suck at getting myself to do anything when I don't feel like it so IDK what to do.

Celia's eyes shot open, and she sat up with a start to see Cian leaning against her door frame. His hood was down, exposing his pale skin, sunburned red in places. He looked fairly unconcerned that he had sneaked into her room, despite how many laws it was breaking.
"What in the names of the gods are you doing in here?!" She sputtered.
Cian blinked, and then seemed to realize that she was upset. "Oh! Your building let me in. And then I guessed the code for your room." After Celia just stared at him, still in shock, he added, "I was just sitting in the outer chamber."

The past few days have been extraordinarily weird. Yesterday's strange involved a doctor's appointment, the likes of which needs no elaboration; today's involved inexplicable exhaustion (since it's just Tuesday, geez) and cognitive dissonance of the highest order. Brilliant moves on my part today involved staring at the bright red ON switch of the planer in the shop and wondering how to turn it on, cutting the miter on the strainer frame's first stick incorrectly, and fumbling with the pneumatic system hopelessly. I had three men come over at separate intervals and gently assist me in my moments of idiocy and confusion, and all I could think was that art really was imitating life and that I had suddenly woken up in the middle of a powerswap of my own. I hesitate to touch what I have presently on my commissions with a possibly erronous hand as a result, but having a day's break is hardly that bad.
Speaking of which: I'm 50% on one piece right now and 25-30% on another. It's looking like I'll have another art dump by the end of the week, and it won't be just some scrungy sketchdump -- although, I have to say that everyone's been quite complimentary about what I did there. I don't really have anything else artsy-fartsy, so I'm going to end this paragraph. See what I meant about dotty reaction times? To quote a certain biopic, I'm not there.
Things that are more important for you lot: it looks like I'm going to be a little late with the last ends of powersplosion, and all my apologies save that I have a touch of make-up homework to do that takes precedent. I have an inbox full of outstanding comments right now that I'll get to tomorrow afternoon, since I don't trust myself at the moment to do too much (although, faeriexlights, I'm tagging that initial txt msg), but if there's anything you'd like me to look at that would be super. Otherwise, I am going to gear towards belated shit.

- Unless I am comfortable with the idea of dropping out of Northwestern University, I am not doing RPWriMo. In fact, as the quarter winds down, I may be around even less, as I attempt to cram into my brain all the knowledge that I failed to absorb in September/October.
- Nevertheless, I have two logs to start/do.
- Heather needs to go. There have been several signs telling me that it is time (my personal failure to explore fully her only interesting plot, her continual absence from BHH-group filters, my inability to name a friend of hers that she doesn't share a surname with), and I really ought to heed them.
- This will leave me with Steve and two comic relief characters, total. I am okay with that. I think.
- I also have thoughts on Swapgate '09, but those will have to wait for their own post, after it's all over, but here is a short summary of my characters so far, since none of my logs are up:
- On the evening of November 2, Ragnar came to Capes to get his guitar back from Annie Brewski. He set off Dorothy's lasers in the second floor girls' hallway, and ultimately left without the guitar. There will be a log.
- After a series of mild, painless visions, Steve kicked his werewolf roommate out and came to the conclusion that he was the new Cassandra. The old Cassandra came over to give him hugs and drugs. Then he had a rather unpleasant seizure vision. It involved death. There will be a log.
- Heather got sexiled by her loser roommate and a robot. She has no "real" powers, and is surprised at how much she misses hers. She is also in a bad mood.
- Drake has alternately been sulking about how much he misses his feet and getting drunk with Rob Brewski. Also, staying out of drama.

So I've just learned that a paper I thought was due sometime next month is in fact due (sort of) a week from Thursday. This means, unfortunately, that I have to formulate a thesis, acquire sources, and write 12-18 pages in 9 days. On the plus side, what I submit next Thursday isn't a final draft. I'm giving it to someone in class, who will then peer edit it; I can then make any changes I want before submitting it to the professor, who then marks it up and gives it back so that we can change it once again before the final is draft is due, several days after the second. So even if I just churn out bullshit for the 12th, I have a good(ish) amount of time to make it not suck.
Another positive is that I'll have it out of the way for the other papers I need to write, one of which is fairly short (5 or so pages) and will be easy to bullshit, the other of which is 10 pages and will actually require effort.
I had something else to say, but I can't remember what.
ETA: I remember. My comment notifs are coming in extremely slowly. Let me know if you need anything from me.

Meh. I felt tired and lazy today. Hence, I didn't get anything done for RPWRIMO, because I suck. And I didn't get much done in way of NANOWRIMO either, really. And then my internet was bitchy this evening DESPITE the fact that we JUST got a new freaking modem which was supposed to quit this shittery.
Dorea's history is finished (thank goodness I'm making her so young), I'm going to write up her personality tomorrow, clean her up, and then a Dorea there shall be! Dominique is a bit tougher, because I'm having issues with her personality, because I need to differentiate her from how she is usually, and how she's become by having a bb (WHO IS NAMED ARTHUR, AFTER KING ARTHUR NOT GRANDPAPPY ARTHUR KTHX), but without changing her central core. I'm trying to make her nicer, but without her being nicer, and she's being a brat with me.

So as you may know, my first neopolis character was Dimitri. What you may not know is that he's not the first one I applied for.
Yes, there was another, who was turned down for being too awesome. (Also because at the time, the game was pretty well full of demons).
But it's just as well, since parts of his personality got divvied up into Dimitri and George. But I found the application in my old emails, and I decided to post my old shame.
Now, keep in mind that I hadn't played there yet, so the application mostly works on how I thought Neopolis operated as opposed to how it actually did.

I wasn't going to do this either because I really can't try to hit 30,000 when I need to concentrate on school, but I'll probably end up doing a bunch of logs for the end of R anyhow so I might as well see how much I just end up doing anyhow. I really wish comments counted sometimes though, since Padma's replies to Anthony and sometimes George are normally longer than most of her entries and sometimes longer than tags I do for logs. I am also wondering if I can swing counting any writing I do for BW prep, since I'm helping out on a few things there.
I'm a bit unclear though - do journal entries count?

Hi, writers! Just a reminder that RPWriMo officially kicked off yesterday! Hopefully you guys all got some good logging, narrative writing, or drabbling (whatever, it's a word now) in!
If you're interested in keeping track of your writing in your CDJ on a cute little progress bar, go here to get one! Thanks to chthonian for the link.
As a reminder, you should plan on averaging 1,000 words per day in order to hit 30,000 by the end of the month. Obviously on some days you write more and on some you write less, but that's a good goal to keep for yourself. I'll try to update this community with prompts and ideas as the month goes on, and please feel free to do the same!

EDIT: Also, if you happen to write narratives, drabbles, or logs of which you are exceptionally proud, I encourage you to make a post in this community with a link and share it with everyone! Nothing wrong with a little inspiration. :)
